Trauma, Rights and Justice: From War and Gender-Based Violence to Peacebuilding Introduced me to trauma informed behaviors and understand transmission of intergenerational trauma which is prevalent in the indigenous community in Canada.
Genocide in the 20th was an eye opening course which highlighted the need for violence to be stopped, just because of the killing that happens but the long term effect it has on people especially women and children.
Settler Colonialism: Decolonization and Responsibility was my best course taken so far because it not only helped me explore strength by being flexible with delivery of course assignments but also embodied decolonization of the pedagogy of education.
